Uplyft are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to deliver engaging educational programs and support positive outcomes for children aged 0–5 years.

  • Permanent part-time position (15 hours per week, Wednesday and Friday)

About the Role

As an Early Childhood Educator you will create and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences for children aged 0–5 years, guided by the Early Years Learning Framework. You will support children’s learning, development and wellbeing through meaningful relationships, quality educational programs and a safe, nurturing environment.

Working collaboratively with the team, you will contribute to curriculum planning, maintain children’s learning records, ensure compliance with relevant regulations and provide high-quality care and supervision. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to helping children thrive and fostering positive partnerships with families.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or be actively working towards an approved qualification with at least 50% completed).
  • Current Teacher Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (where applicable).
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework, and relevant legislation and regulations.
  • A strong understanding of child development, health, wellbeing, nutrition and child safety practices.
  • Knowledge of child protection requirements and a commitment to safeguarding children.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • A collaborative, professional approach and commitment to working in line with organisational values, policies and procedures.
