About the Role

The Primary School Quranic, Arabic & Islamic Studies Teacher plays a vital role in shaping the quality of teaching and learning within the Arabic & Islamic Studies Department. The successful applicant will create a challenging and inspiring environment that enables every learner to achieve their potential.   • A proven educator with a strong commitment to the advancement of student learning
  • An appreciation of Islamic values, morals, and faith, and the ability to inspire these values in students
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching Islamic Studies
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • High work ethic and a commitment to continuous professional development
  • The ability to maintain the highest ethical and professional standards with learners, parents, and staff
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider community
  • Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and respect for all stakeholders
  • High levels of integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
  • A warm, empathetic, and positive attitude
  • Tajweed Proficiency, in application and theory, to be assessed by the College
  • Hold a Valid Working With Children Check Clearance number is mandatory.
  • NESA Accreditation is Desirable
  • Formal Qualification in Islamic Studies from a reputable institution
