About The Role
We are currently seeking a detail oriented Junior Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer to join our Ultimate Offroad team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in handling high volumes of invoices, ensuring accuracy and efficiency, while also addressing any inquiries from suppliers. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner including the end-to-end processing of Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable tasks. Reporting to our Accountant, you must be organised and enjoy working in a team environment providing financial, administrative and clerical support to our finance team.
As an AP/AR you will be responsible for:
End-to-end Accounts Payable & ReceivableEnsuring all creditor invoices are processed for payment by the due date and in accordance with GST LegislationReceiving and administering emailsProcess Cash & 7/14-day paymentsHandling and reconciliation of small petty cashLiaising with suppliers, including tagging payment runs, receiving & reconciling invoices, reporting and record-keepingReconcile prepayment allocations in MYOB dailyFiling and archivingGeneral administrative duties as requiredEnsuring the company’s financial/contractual obligations are recorded in a timely manner and payment of such are made in accordance with internal company PoliciesUndertaking other responsibilities as required and directed by the Accountant.About you:

You will have the following:
Bachelor of Accounting or Certificate IV in Bookkeeping (preferred)Previous experience in a similar role is desirable with monthly reconciliations (essential)2 years experience with MYOB AccountRight is essential, you will be required to demonstrate your understanding of MYOB & Accounting knowledgeIntermediate to advanced computer skills in MS OfficeGood understanding of accounting principles, including accrual accounting, reconciliations, general ledger journals with readiness to learn more complex principlesAbility to work both independently and as a part of a teamThe ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingRemuneration will be based on qualifications and experience
