Part-time 22.5 hrs per week

About the Role

Are you passionate about retail, community service, and leading with purpose? Lifeline Mid Coast is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Shop Supervisor to support the daily operations of our retail shop and assist our Shop Manager and incredible team of volunteers.

As Shop Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Shop Manager and step into leadership when needed. You’ll be a key player in creating a welcoming, efficient, and values-aligned environment that reflects Lifeline Mid Coast’s mission to support individuals and communities through crisis and beyond.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and support volunteers in daily shop operations
• Maintain stock displays, shop tidiness, and donation bin collections
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and uphold Lifeline values
• Assist with banking, cash summaries, and operational documentation
• Promote WHS compliance and lead safety initiatives
• Collaborate with the Shop Manager to drive continuous improvement
• Attend meetings and support volunteer development
• Uphold confidentiality and Lifeline’s Code of Conduct

What We’re Looking For

• Certificate II or higher in Retail
• 5+ years’ experience in a retail environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Experience managing volunteers and working with donated goods
• Knowledge of clothing brands and merchandising
• A flexible, positive attitude and commitment to leading by example
• Alignment with Lifeline Mid Coast’s values and mission
