Forklift Operator w Maintenance/Handyman skills

We need an experienced Forklift Operator to join the Maintenance team of this 3PL warehouse. This role is a bit of a ‘jack of all trades’ handyman role with the added responsibility of backing up on pick/pack, load/unload warehouse duties as required.

• Counterbalance forklift operator
• Reach experience advantageous but not essential
• Must have used Crown joystick machinery
• Loading unloading trucks and covering breaks.
• General Maintenance and handyman tasks – repairs, meeting tradies, moving things
• Use of basic tools – general drilling. Hammer drilling. Sawing etc.
• Unmixing pallets
• Watering forklifts daily.
• Conducting a range of checks across the site and reporting them Maintenance Manager
• Compacting cardboard and plastic.
• Keeping the site tidy & emptying bins
• Mowing and gardening

We are looking for someone who is reliable with a good attitude. Must be a logical thinker, have common sense, good numeracy/literacy skills & with hands-on repair and handyman skills.
