Swim Teacher – Infant & Pre-School Aquatic Program (Training Provided)

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Swim Teacher who is passionate about working with young children and is willing to be trained to teach infant and pre-school aquatic lessons. This is a rewarding opportunity to grow within a supportive team and make a lasting impact on the early development of water skills in children aged 6 months to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, safe, and age-appropriate swimming lessons

• Build trust and rapport with young swimmers and their families

• Follow structured lesson plans and adapt to children’s individual needs

• Work closely with other instructors and the leadership team

• Participate in on-the-job training and upskilling in early childhood aquatics

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine love for working with children, especially under 5s

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and be trained

• An active Ochre Card (Working with Children Clearance)

• Availability for morning, afternoon, and/or weekend shifts

• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

Desirable (or willing to obtain with support):

• AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety or equivalent

• Infant and Pre-School Aquatics qualification

• CPR & First Aid certification
