Support with Purpose in Aged Care
Senior Accounts Payable Officer | Bowen Hills, Brisbane
Are you a seasoned AP professional who thrives on the detail, loves mentoring others, and wants their work to mean something beyond the numbers?
At Trilogy Care — one of Australia’s fastest-growing Support at Home providers — we’re building a high-performing finance team that’s as passionate about people as it is about precision. We’re looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Officer who’s ready to step into a role where your expertise genuinely shapes how we operate.
Why Trilogy Care, Why Now
Aged care is undergoing its most significant transformation in decades, and we’re at the forefront of it. As demand accelerates, we’re investing in the people and processes that keep our financial operations running with accuracy, integrity, and purpose.
This isn’t a head-down, process-only role. You’ll be a go-to person for the team — mentoring, improving, and helping us do things better.
What You’ll Do
- Process and oversee supplier payments accurately and on time, in line with HCP/S@H compliance standards
- Partner with the Team Leader – Accounts Payable to keep daily operations running smoothly and controls tight
- Mentor and build the capability of team members, creating consistency and confidence across the function
- Investigate and resolve complex invoice discrepancies, supplier queries, and escalations
- Support audit preparation and maintain clear, compliant financial records
- Contribute to reporting on invoice volumes, processing performance, and compliance trends
- Drive process improvement and system optimisation initiatives that make a real difference to efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate across Finance, Care, and Operations to deliver seamless outcomes for the people we serve
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within aged care, healthcare, or community services
- Solid working knowledge of finance systems, invoice portals, and Excel — MYOB/ERP experience highly regarded
- Experience mentoring or guiding team members, formally or informally
- A solutions-focused mindset with sharp attention to detail
- Understanding of HCP/S@H financial compliance (desirable but not essential — we’ll back you to learn)
- Genuine enthusiasm for continuous improvement and doing things the right way
Life at Trilogy Care
- Brand new, expansive King Street offices in Bowen Hills — close to transport, cafes, and everything in between
- Coffee and snacks in the office everyday!
- Vibrant team culture with regular social events
- Real career mapping and progression opportunities within a rapidly growing business
- Fitness Passport to support your health and wellbeing
- EAP support for you and your immediate family
- Novated leasing and employee discounts on groceries, fuel, utilities, wellness and more
