Description

Ready to Be the Hands That Keep Every Journey on Track?

Do you love working behind the scenes to make sure everything is just right before customers hit the road? Are you someone who takes pride in fixing, maintaining, and perfecting the details so every campervan and motorhome feels like home from the moment the keys are handed over?

At Travvia, the home of JUCY and Star RV, we’re looking for a Campervan & Motorhome Maintenance Officer (Domestic Technician) to join our Sydney Branch and help bring unforgettable travel experiences to life.

The Destination: Where Quality Meets Adventure

As a Maintenance Officer (Domestic Technician), you play a vital role in delivering our promise to customers. You’ll ensure our campervans and motorhomes are safe, functional, and presented to a high standard, ready for the adventures ahead. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with Mechanics, Customer Service, and Detailing teams, taking ownership of repairs, quality checks, and maintenance that help keep the branch running smoothly in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Your Journey on the Road

Keep the Fleet Adventure-Ready

You’ll carry out domestic repairs and maintenance on campervans and motorhomes, ensuring everything inside works exactly as it should—from fittings to fixtures and finishing touches.

Deliver Quality at Every Touchpoint

You’ll complete pre-hire safety inspections and quality checks (training provided), making sure every vehicle is roadworthy, clean, and ready to exceed customer expectations.

Support Operations Behind the Scenes

From stripping wrecks to helping manage high vehicle volumes, you’ll step in where needed to support the wider team and keep operations moving efficiently.

Be a Friendly Face in a Busy Environment

You’ll work in a customer-facing setting, so being approachable, helpful, and professional comes naturally to you even when things get busy.

Lead with Safety in Mind

Health and safety is part of everything you do. You’ll follow procedures, use tools correctly, and help maintain a safe environment for staff and customers alike.

What You’ll Bring to the Trip

You’re practical, detail-oriented, and take genuine pride in your work. You enjoy solving problems, working with your hands, and being part of a team that relies on each other to deliver great outcomes.

You’ll also bring:

• Experience in domestic repairs and maintenance (cars, campers, or motorhomes)

• Good general mechanical knowledge and confidence using a variety of tools

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset

• The ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment

• A full Australian driver’s licence

• Availability to work weekends and public holidays

• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices

• Rental vehicle, campervan, or motorhome experience (preferred, not essential)

• A desire to build a hands-on career in tourism or the rental vehicle industry

Why You’ll Love Rolling With Us

This is a full-time role where you’ll be part of a fun, multicultural team that genuinely enjoys working together. You’ll have the chance to grow your career in the tourism industry while working with iconic brands known for adventure and exploration. You’ll also enjoy great perks, including 5 days of free campervan or car hire each year across Australia and New Zealand. We can’t promise every day will be easy, but we can promise support, teamwork, and the opportunity to be part of a passionate, motivated crew helping travellers live out their road trip dreams.
