About the Role

This is a fantastic early career opportunity for someone who is organised, calm under pressure, and keen to build a career in transport operations. We are seeking candidates with some previous experience/ exposure to similar roles. Training will be provided, for an early career candidate able to demonstrate the right attitude and willingness to learn.

As a Fleet Allocator, you’ll play a critical role in coordinating our day‑to‑day transport operations. You will be responsible for multitasking in a fast‑moving environment with a very low margin for error, including:

  • Allocating drivers and appropriate vehicles to meet on‑demand pickup calls as they are received
  • Rescheduling and balancing driver workloads in response to unplanned events or delays
  • Liaising with contact centre consultants, health facilities, and allied transport services
  • Supporting the smooth running of our service through timely decision‑making and effective communication

About You

We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and thrives in a dynamic environment. This role is ideal for someone wanting to grow their established skills and capability in the transport, logistics, or scheduling field.

You will have:

  • Demonstrable ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment
  • Strong planning and problem‑solving skills, with sound judgement and the ability to prioritise
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Good map‑reading abilities and ability to use GPS devices
  • Experience with navigation or dispatch systems preferred
  • Experience in high‑volume allocation preferred

Requirements

  • Must hold, or be able to obtain, a Yellow Card
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as part of the roster
