Junior Recruitment Consultant
Casual Position | 11:30 – 20:00 | $36 per hour

At Tradewind Australia, we’re looking for someone who wants more than just an office job.
You’ll join our recruitment team, learning every part of the process while working alongside experienced consultants who will teach you how to build lasting client relationships, source exceptional teachers and become a successful 360 Recruitment Consultant. Whether you’ve worked in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail or have recently finished university, we’ll teach you recruitment. What we can’t teach is drive, resilience and a genuine desire to succeed.
What you’ll be doing
Every day will be different, but you’ll spend your time:
- Interviewing and building relationships with teachers
- Matching great educators with schools across Victoria
- Managing bookings and delivering exceptional customer service
- Speaking with schools to understand their staffing needs
- Building talent pipelines through sourcing and headhunting
- Learning business development alongside experienced consultants
- Working towards individual and team performance targets
- Keeping candidate and client information organised within our CRM
- Developing into a true end to end Recruitment Consultant
You’ll work closely with experienced Business Development Managers, Compliance Consultants and Recruitment Consultants, giving you exposure to every stage of the recruitment lifecycle.
Who we’re looking for
This role suits someone who enjoys speaking with people, thrives in a fast paced environment and isn’t afraid of picking up the phone.
You might come from: Recruitment, Retail leadership, Hospitality management, Customer service, Business development, Call centre sales, Door-to-door sales, or Education.
