Demand Planner (15 Month Maternity Leave Contract)

We’re looking for an experienced Demand Planner to join our Inventory Team and play a critical role in ensuring the right products
are in the right place at the right time. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a globally recognised brand in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your ideas are valued and no two days are the same. This is a 15-month maternity leave contract, based at our Mulgrave Head Office.
About the Role
Reporting to the Master Planner, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end demand and supply planning for the INIKA portfolio. You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, NPD, Operations, Finance and our
global supplier network to ensure product availability while optimising inventory and supporting exciting new product launches.You’ll also play a key role in our monthly S&OP process, helping drive data-led decisions that keep our business moving.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own forecasting and replenishment planning for the INIKA portfolio
- Manage inventory levels to balance customer demand and working capital
- Lead monthly demand planning and contribute to the S&OP process
- Create and maintain purchase orders while working closely with international suppliers
- Coordinate inbound shipments and support logistics activities
- Maintain accurate product master data, Bills of Materials and planning parameters
within Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Support new product launches, lifecycle planning and inventory transitions
- Analyse inventory performance and provide recommendations to improve planning
outcomes
- Build strong relationships across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and
external suppliers
- Drive continuous improvement across planning processes and systems
About You
You’ll be someone who enjoys solving problems, loves working with data and thrives in a fast-paced environment where collaboration is key.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning or Inventory Planning
- Strong ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365 highly regarded)
- Advanced Excel skills and excellent analytical capability
- Experience working with forecasting, purchasing and inventory management
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to juggle multiple priorities while remaining calm under pressure
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
Experience within FMCG, beauty or consumer goods will be highly regarded but isn’t essential.
