Description

Together Queensland, Branch of the ASU, is a union with approximately 30,000 members employed in the Queensland Public Sector, Queensland Health, and a wide variety of private sector industries and employers throughout Queensland.

Are you motivated by fairness and passionate about improving workers’ lives? We are looking for Industrial Support Officers to join our dedicated industrial team.

This is a training role designed to build the skills and confidence needed to progress into an Industrial Officer role. Over a two-year structured learning and development pathway, you will receive mentoring, on-the-job training, and professional development in case management, interpreting and applying industrial instruments, preparing submissions and case materials, and supporting tribunal and employer processes.

As an Industrial Support Officer, you will provide initial advice, information, and guidance on workplace issues. You will assist members by triaging matters, preparing case documentation, and supporting Industrial Officers in delivering high-quality advice and representation. This is a dynamic role requiring clear communication, strong organisational skills, and the ability to problem-solve while supporting workers through challenging situations.

The role is located at our South Brisbane premises.
