The Warehouse, Logistics & Customer Service Administrator role reports to the Customer Service Team Leader, and is based out of our office in Arndell Park which will move to Seven Hills in the
near future.
Hours of work are Mon-Fri from, 38 hours per week. Base salary starting at $65,000 + super. This is a permanent full-time position.
We are looking for that special person, a team player who can also work unsupervised. Someone who is not afraid of hard work and is results driven, with a solid level of familiarity with computer competency.
The role will include:
·Raising Purchase Orders
·Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
·Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
·Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
·Resolve any arising problems or complaints
·Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
·Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
·Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
·Help strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services
·Answering enquiries via email and phone
The ideal candidate will have:
·Previous warehouse administration/customer service experience with a proven ability to understand,
meet and exceed customer expectations
·Ability to learn quickly on the job
·Highly motivated and enthusiastic with confident, friendly personality
·Proficient computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
·High attention to detail
·Ability to build relationships with customers and suppliers and to manage expectations
·Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
·Direct exposure to the logistics industry would be highly advantageous
·2+ years prior experience in customer facing roles and warehousing
·Excellent communication skills and the ability to anticipate the needs of customers
·Must demonstrate strong analytical thinking skills
·Should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgement calls
·Superior organizational and time management skills
·Innovative, creative thinking skills to ensure the organization is providing a cutting-edge client experience
