What are we looking for: 

We are seeking a driven Human Resources Officer to support our dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this is a hands-on, office-based role, providing support across four businesses and helping to shape our employee’s experience with the organisation. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Recruitment: Play a key role in end-to-end recruitment processes to support the high-volume nature of our growth, including sourcing, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and conducting references for roles across our portfolio. 
  • Employee experience: Contribute to a positive employee experience through recruitment, onboarding, lifecycle management, and learning and development initiatives. Provide support to the business to deliver operational objectives across a range of Human Resources activities and programs. 
  • Compliance and reporting: Coordinate compliance requirements and administer Human Resources Information Systems and employee benefits. Prepare regular reporting on key people metrics. 
  • Work Health and Safety: Assist with Work Health and Safety committee activities and reporting systems and support the management of return-to-work and workers compensation claims. 
  • Human Resources projects: Assist with ad hoc Human Resources projects as required. 

Who are we looking for: 

More than the qualifications you hold, we are looking for someone with the right attitude. Someone who is curious, shows initiative, and demonstrates a high level of attention to detail. Someone who is eager to grow and contribute to the broader organisation. 

Our businesses operate in a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who can keep up. You must be able to manage multiple tasks and interact effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders in a shared-service model.  

Other ideal criteria: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related field 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR and/or recruitment 
  • Understanding of aged care, disability, or allied health sectors and their compliance frameworks (highly regarded) 
  • Excellent customer service skills and a proactive attitude 
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Professionalism, integrity, and high emotional intelligence 
  • Current Police Check, two doses of COVID-19 and annual Influenza vaccinations, and a valid driver’s licence.
