The Opportunity
Our beautiful hotel is looking for a passionate and seasoned Guest Service Agent to join the Front Office team. We have a Full-Time position available. As the face of the hotel, Guest Service Agents play a pivotal role in shaping the guest experience. Exemplary customer service skills are a must for this role!
Your day-to-day:
- Ensure a smooth and efficient check in and check out experience for guests.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a prompt and professional manner.
- Liaise with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
- Process transactions, handle cash or credit card payments and provide accurate billing information.
- Be able to support Concierge with car operations or porter duties when required.
Our successful candidate will have:
- A passion for delivering positive guest experiences.
- A proactive demeanor.
- Previous Front Office experience in a five-star hotel environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Excel and Outlook is essential
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Previous Opera knowledge is highly regarded, but not essential.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, mornings, weekends and public holidays.
- A valid full Victorian Driver’s License
