About the role
We are seeking a friendly, motivated Medical Receptionist to join our Dubbo team. As the first point of contact for patients, doctors, and nurses, you’ll play a key role in creating a welcoming, professional experience—every interaction counts, and you’ll help ensure each patient’s first and last impression is a positive one.
In this role, you will:
- Provide a warm welcome to all patients and visitors to The Skin Hospital
- Make patient appointments, provision of fee information and meeting patient’s service needs on the telephone
- Complete accurate patient billing and daily banking reconciliation
- Support a smooth clinic flow while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards
About you
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
- Previous experience in a hospital or busy medical practice front desk
- Confidence in answering calls, problem-solving, and assisting patients
- Experience processing payments and navigating billing systems
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a positive team culture
- A calm and friendly approach in a fast-paced environment
