About the Role
The Pool Tile Company is entering a significant growth phase and is seeking a high-calibre National Operations Manager to lead and scale our national operations platform across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, inventory, and supply chain functions.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is pivotal in strengthening operational capability, enhancing systems and performance, and evolving the business from a Queensland-based market leader into a nationally integrated operation.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for a commercially minded operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a proven track record leading operational transformation, continuous improvement, and multi-site teams.
Key Deliverables:
- Lead national operations across warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, inventory, and supply chain.
- Drive Lean, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Build high-performing teams and strengthen leadership capability across multiple sites.
- Implement KPI-driven performance management systems across safety, quality, DIFOT, labour productivity, and cost control.
- Improve operational systems, ERP capability, automation, and AI-enabled efficiencies.
- Lead operational transformation and scalability initiatives to support national growth.
- Manage operational budgets, freight, inventory, and profitability drivers.
- Drive WHS leadership, compliance, and safety culture across the business.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven senior operations leadership experience within manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or supply chain environments.
- Strong experience leading multi-site operations and scaling operational capability.
- Demonstrated success implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to drive accountability and performance.
- ERP and operational systems experience (SAP highly regarded).
- Strong WHS leadership and compliance experience.
- Experience in automation, process improvement, and operational transformation highly regarded.
