Description

The Co-Group are currently seeking experienced Female Support Workers to support a client based in North Kellyville. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with a client who has sustained a brain injury and requires 24/7 active, high-level care while remaining fully cognitive.

About the role You will be providing high-level, complex care support within a home environment. The role involves a combination of clinical-style care and day-to-day assistance to support the client’s quality of life and independence. Key responsibilities include PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, oral suctioning, personal care and manual handling, supporting therapy routines and transfers, assisting with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation, and supporting community outings where appropriate.

Available shifts This position operates on a 24-hour active care roster including morning shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, afternoon shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and active night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Additional support shifts are available from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Please note the following shifts have already been filled: Monday and Tuesday (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM),

Wednesday to Sunday active night shifts (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Saturday (10:00 AM – 1:00 PM). All other shifts remain available.

About you You will have experience working in complex or high-care disability support and be confident with PEG feeding, tracheostomy care and suctioning. You will demonstrate a compassionate and patient approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to support both clinical and domestic needs. Flexibility across a rotating roster is essential.

Requirements – Valid Driver’s Licence – Access to a comprehensive insured car with 5 seats – NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You  – NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment – Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment – Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) – Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques.
