Description

The Co-Group are seeking compassionate and reliable Female Disability Support Workers to join a support team assisting an adult female participant in Banora Point.

The participant requires daily in-home support following a recent hospital admission. Support workers will assist with personal care, mobility, catheter care, meal support, and daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Shifts

  • Availability required across 7 days per week
  • Between 6:00am and 10:00pm
  • Split shifts may apply

Key Responsibilities

  • Personal care including showering, dressing, and continence support
  • Catheter care (training provided)
  • Hoist transfers and safe manual handling
  • Assistance with meals and daily living activities
  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes

Requirements

  • Valid Driver’s Licence
  • Access to a comprehensive insured car with 5 seats
  • NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You 
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment
  • Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques.
