Description

We are seeking dedicated professional Disability Support Workers to join our team.

Promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life while encouraging inclusion and choice.

The ideal candidates will have solid experience supporting people with disabilities and a strong commitment to person‑centred care.

Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours such as verbal and physical aggression while encouraging independence, growth, and community reintegration.

On-going work, with consistent hours.

Key responsibilities of this role will include

  • Support clients in achieving their goals by providing direct care in accordance with the individual’s PSBP and company guidelines
  • Navigate challenging behaviours such as verbal and physical aggression while encouraging independence, growth, and reintegration into the community
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation, including shift notes, incident reports, and other relevant records
  • Benefit from thoughtful client matching to ensure rewarding and meaningful work

Must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week on an ongoing basis within the following time frames:

6am-2pm

2pm-10pm

sleepover or actives 10pm-0600am

✨Requirements✨

– Valid Driver’s Licence

– Access to a comprehensive insured car

– NDIS Module – Quality, Safety & You 

– NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment

– Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment

– Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

– Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques.
