Description

At The Bridge, we believe everyone brings unique strengths, perspectives, and potential.

We’re looking for a Team Leader who’s passionate about supporting people with disability to explore meaningful employment pathways—and who enjoys leading a team in a supportive, down-to-earth way.

This role offers a balanced mix of people leadership and hands-on support. You’ll share your time between leading a small team of Employment Coaches and working directly with participants, with your workload designed to be realistic and sustainable across both areas.

You’ll be part of our Your Jobs Now (YJN) team—a group of dedicated, values-driven people who care deeply about creating inclusive employment opportunities. You’ll work closely with the YJN Manager while supporting your team and contributing to participant outcomes.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide guidance and support to Employment Coaches, helping coordinate work across locations and ensuring services run smoothly
  • Support key processes such as attendance tracking, service records, and NDIS-related documentation
  • Work directly with participants to explore their goals and build personalised pathways to employment
  • Deliver tailored supports, including job search assistance, travel training, workplace support, and employability sessions
  • Build connections with employers and the local community to create opportunities such as volunteering, work experience, and employment
  • Maintain strong relationships with families, carers, and other supports, and follow up on participant progress
  • Contribute to a positive team culture, keep documentation up to date, and support the team to meet quality and compliance requirements

This role will operate between our Dandenong and Greensborough services and require frequent travel between the two sites.
