Lead, Coach and Grow Exceptional Centre Leaders 

The Atlantis Group is seeking an experienced and inspiring Performance & Capability Lead to partner with our Centre Managers and build leadership capability and exceptional performance outcomes across our network of 10 Early Learning Centres and 1 Outside School Hours Care Centre throughout metropolitan Perth.  

 

Based in our Currambine Support Office and regularly working across our centres, this pivotal leadership role reports directly to the CEO and plays a key part in driving sustainable operational excellence, people leadership and organisational performance.  

 

This is not a traditional operations role. Our Performance & Capability Lead succeeds by coaching with accountability – developing highly capable, confident Centre Managers who can independently lead high-performing centres, teams and achieve exceptional performance outcomes.  

 

About the Role 

As the Performance & Capability Lead, you will provide leadership, coaching and performance support to 10 Centre Managers and 1 OSHC Centre Manager. You will maintain a strategic view of performance across the network, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and connect Centre Managers with the right specialist support to achieve strong commercial, operational, people and quality outcomes.  

 

Success in this role will be reflected through exceptional leadership capability, high-performing centre teams, and centres consistently achieving sustainable performance against organisational goals and KPIs.  

 

Key Accountabilities & Deliverables 

  • Coach and develop Centre Managers to strengthen leadership capability, confidence and accountability 
  • Facilitate regular coaching, growth and development conversations linked to strategic and operational goals and performance objectives 
  • Build commercial capability alongside educational and people leadership capability.  
  • Maintain a holistic view of performance across quality, people, culture, safety, compliance and financial measures, to drive appropriate actions to deliver on performance goals and objectives 
  • Foster a high-performance, high-trust leadership culture through coaching, collaboration and continuous improvement.  
  • Partner with internal specialists to develop resources and initiatives that enhance leadership capability and organisational performance. 

 

Skills, Attributes & Experience 

  • Proven experience coaching and developing Centre leaders in a multi-site operational environment.   
  • Demonstrated success improving performance across multiple locations, including people, quality and commercial outcomes.  
  • Strong strategic thinking, systems-thinking and decision-making capability.  
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing and stakeholder management skills.  
  • Experience with workforce planning, succession planning, talent development and performance management.  
  • Strong understanding of Early Childhood Education and Care, including the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation.   
  • Skilled in leadership development tools and coaching frameworks.  
  • High emotional intelligence, resilience and adaptability.  
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, presentation and feedback skills.  
  • Comfortable holding accountability, making difficult decisions and leading change.  

Qualifications 

Essential 

  • Degree qualification in Business, Leadership, Education, Human Resources or related discipline. 
  • Executive or Leadership Coaching qualification. 
  • Current Working with Children Check. 
  • Current National Police Clearance. 
  • Current unrestricted driver’s licence.
