The Tasmanian Walking Company are proudly Tasmanian and have been walking for over 30 years to deliver unique experiences that connect guests to some of Tasmania’s most remote, wild, and special places.
Make the most of this exciting opportunity to join our team as one of our Lodge Hosts, helping to run our amazing off the grid lodge at Bay of Fires. Our lodges offer true shelter and are designed to be simple yet sustainable. Whilst your guests settle in with a warm shower after a long day of walking, you will begin preparing a delicious feast of local fare.
The right individuals will have good hospitality and food preparation experience and be passionate about creating connection with people and place. The role will be offered on a casual basis from Mid-September 2026 through to May 2027 with rosters ranging between 7–8 days on and 6-7 days off. Accommodation is provided whilst on shift.
