Summary:

The Leasing Manager plays a crucial role in the real estate and property industry by overseeing the leasing operations of commercial properties. This position is essential for maximising occupancy rates and ensuring tenant satisfaction, thereby contributing to the overall success and profitability of the organisation. The Leasing Manager will work closely with property owners and tenants, develop effective leasing strategies and maintain strong relationships within the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement leasing strategies to maximise occupancy rates across all properties.
  • Conduct property viewings and provide prospective tenants with detailed information about available units.
  • Negotiate lease agreements and ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain relationships with current tenants to address concerns and enhance tenant satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adjust leasing strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and manage leasing budgets, forecasts, and reports for management review.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote available properties through various channels.
  • Train and supervise leasing agents to ensure high standards of service and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in leasing or property management.
  • Strong understanding of real estate laws and regulations in Australia.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyse market data and develop effective leasing strategies.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
