Senior Case Worker to join our Family Restoration & Preservation Program in
Northern Sydney area.

About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing a caseload of children and young people aged 12–15 and their families who are experiencing complex challenges. You will provide support that is guided by a family-centred approach, with the aim of building stronger family functioning and positive
outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering intensive, family‑focused case management and crisis intervention
- Undertaking intake, assessment, case planning, and regular reviews
- Work closely with families through home visits and outreach engagement.
- Strengthening and preserving families by delivering targeted interventions to address core issues
- Supporting family restoration, reconciliation, and transition‑back‑home planning
- Working collaboratively with DCJ, Youth Justice, Police, and community partners
- Contributing to high‑quality practice, service development, and team support
Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- A minimum of 3 years’ case management experience working with at‑risk children, young people, and families
- A tertiary qualification in Social Work or a related discipline
- Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated experience working with families experiencing complex needs
- Proven capability in conflict resolution and trauma‑informed practice
- Strong time management, networking, and relationship‑building skills
- A current unrestricted driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle
- The ability to work flexibly between 7am–7pm, when required. and participate in an on‑call roster
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check
- A current First Aid Certificate
