Description

Based in Port Adelaide, we provide end-to-end logistics solutions including wharf cartage, container transport, warehousing, distribution, project logistics, heavy haulage and Australia-wide bulk haulage.

The Specialised Warehouse Forklift Operator plays a key role in the safe movement, storage and handling of products within the warehouse. You will operate forklifts and specialised equipment, maintain accurate inventory records, and support a safe, organised and efficient work environment.

 

What you will be doing…

  • Safely operate forklifts and specialised equipment to load, unload, move and store products.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, discrepancies and quality issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records.
  • Pick, pack and prepare orders for distribution while maximising storage efficiency.
  • Support site safety, housekeeping and continuous improvement initiatives.

Do you have…

  • A current Forklift Licence and proven forklift operating experience.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment, ideally within transport, logistics or container operations.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, accuracy and housekeeping standards.
  • The ability to work a rotating roster and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with chain/ratchet dogs and slipsheet attachments (preferred) and a willingness to learn.

Additional information: Successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, police check and a pre employment medical.
