The Specialised Warehouse Forklift Operator plays a key role in the safe movement, storage and handling of products within the warehouse. You will operate forklifts and specialised equipment, maintain accurate inventory records, and support a safe, organised and efficient work environment.
What you will be doing…
- Safely operate forklifts and specialised equipment to load, unload, move and store products.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage, discrepancies and quality issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records.
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for distribution while maximising storage efficiency.
- Support site safety, housekeeping and continuous improvement initiatives.
Do you have…
- A current Forklift Licence and proven forklift operating experience.
- Experience in a warehouse environment, ideally within transport, logistics or container operations.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, accuracy and housekeeping standards.
- The ability to work a rotating roster and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with chain/ratchet dogs and slipsheet attachments (preferred) and a willingness to learn.
