Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Finance Business Partner works closely with
operational leaders across the business, providing financial insight, analysis
and support to drive informed decision-making and business performance.
This role partners with Department Managers and key stakeholders to translate financial
information into meaningful insights, identify opportunities for improvement,
and support strategic initiatives through financial analysis and modelling.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders, providing financial support, insight and guidance to drive business performance.
- Analyse financial performance, budgets and forecasts, identifying trends, risks and
opportunities to support informed decision-making.
- Deliver meaningful financial reporting and commentary, translating complex financial
information into practical business insights.
- Develop financial models, scenario analysis and business cases to support strategic
initiatives and investment decisions.
- Partner with leaders to establish, monitor and improve key performance indicators that
drive business performance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, systems, processes and
data quality.
- Work closely with finance and operational stakeholders to improve the month-end
close process, ensuring accurate, timely and efficient financial reporting.
- Provide operational support to the Finance team during peak periods and key business
cycles, contributing to the delivery of critical finance activities and
deadlines.
What we’re looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline; CA or
CPA studies will be highly regarded but are not essential.
- Experience in a financial, analyst or commercial role, with an interest in partnering with
stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships
and influence stakeholders across the business.
- Ability to interpret financial information, translate numbers into plain language and
communicate the story behind the results.
- Strong Excel capability, analytical skills and experience working with financial
systems and reporting tools.
- A proactive, adaptable and self-motivated approach, underpinned by professional
integrity, discretion and a commitment to continuous improvement.
