The South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service based in Bunbury which provides a variety of health services to Aboriginal people in the South West, Great South, Upper wheatbelt and Peel Regions of Western Australia. SWAMS delivers a wide range of Services including GP Clinics, Primary Health Care, Counselling and community host various programs. SWAMS has a strong growth strategy through partnership opportunities and future community development.

About the role
This position is responsible for overseeing and organising the rostered client services for the Aged Care team, with support as required to Allied Health teams, to support its goals and objectives. The scope of the position includes operational support Operational administration and data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with reporting operational incidents, hazards, near misses, and service delivery issues in line with SWAMS policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional and respectful communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support accurate record management and data entry across corporate systems.
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks to support Community Services.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, professional development, and performance reviews.
- Provide administrative support and leave coverage for team members as required.
Reporting and Data Management
- Assist with data collection, reporting, and research activities.
- Maintain electronic records and information systems, including Visualcare, MOA, SharePoint, and LogiQC.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative support role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Desirable Criteria
- Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent (Section 51, Equal Opportunity Act).
- Experience in a community, health, or not-for-profit environment.
- Experience in rostering or scheduling client services.
Essential Requirements
- Current WA C or CA Class Driver’s Licence.
- Working with Children Check.
- National Police Clearance.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
