Yard Person/Facilitator

Support Vehicles Australia is seeking a Yardsperson/facilitator to join our team in Bassendean.

As a leading Design and Manufacture organization supplying bespoke heavy equipment to key clients primarily in the Mining Industry within Western Australia since 2002, we offer a safe and diverse working environment with exposure to a variety of mobile mining support service equipment.

The ideal applicant will have effective communication skills (written & verbal) with a keen eye for quality and a high level of detail.

Reporting to the Fabrication Supervisors, your duties will include:

• Processing raw material – mainly steel
• Receive goods against internal and external paperwork
• Identify and arrange jobs and components in yard
• Material management
• Identify and arrange production equipment
• Transfer of job components between departments
• General yard/workshop cleaning and maintenance

What you will bring to the role:

• High Risk Work License – Forklift Essential
• Proven experience operating a 16 tonne forklift
• HR License desirable
• ‘C’ Class Manual Driver’s License
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Positive approach to work
• Reliability to support your team
• Previous experience in similar role an advantage

Must be able to pass a pre employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Hourly rate from $35-38 per hour, casual contracts may also be considered.

Working Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm

Annual pay between $85,000 – $90,000
