About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive HR professional to support a growing organisation within the disability sector. Working closely with the HR Lead, you will contribute to a wide range of people initiatives from recruitment and employee engagement to culture, events, and workforce development.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on building relationships, and is passionate about making a genuine impact in people’s working lives.

Key Responsibilities

·       Support recruitment activities, including interviews and candidate coordination.

·       Assist with performance management processes and employee relations matters.

·       Coordinate return-to-work processes and support WHS initiatives.

·       Deliver engaging staff events, recognition programs, and culture initiatives.

·       Manage HR administration, including inbox coordination and process improvements.

·       Conduct employee check-ins to support engagement, wellbeing, and compliance.

·       Drive workforce engagement and contribute to retention strategies.

·       Support community engagement activities, including expos and networking events.

·       Build relationships within the South Australian disability sector.

·       Assist with social media content and employer branding efforts.

·       Provide day-to-day support to office staff and contribute to a positive workplace environment.

About You

You are a people-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing both strategic and hands-on work. You bring a strong sense of initiative, excellent organisational skills, and a genuine passion for employee experience and culture.

You will have:

·       A qualification in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field (or currently studying).

·       Experience in HR coordination, administration, or workforce engagement.

·       Exposure to recruitment, employee relations, or performance processes.

·       Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

·       The ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and confidentiality.

·       A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and workplace culture.

Desirable:

·       Experience or knowledge of the disability or community services sector (NDIS)

·       Experience coordinating events or stakeholder engagement activities
