ABOUT THE ROLE

A Quality Control team member will conduct themselves as a custodian of the Sundrop Farms Quality Standards. Quality team members will be the example and leader of product quality within the company.

• Responsible for quality of product packed and ensuring its alignment to the Coles specification.

• taking and measuring retention samples on the basis of understanding what the Coles chain and customer will identify in the product shelf

• Ensure compliance with the foreign object responsibility to ensure that only permitted items remain in the packing facility.

• use programs such as Muddy Boots Greenlight QC and Mega for the measuring and storing of QC data reports and images.

• Assistance in the Packing Shed for cleanliness and food safety and the conclusion of the shift.

• Assistance with Quality Coordinator directives regarding food standards law/ certifications.

• Raising product quality out of specification, especially during periods of repeat issues identified.

• Auditing of packing facility food safety standards where required.

APPLICANT PROFILE

• Excellent communicate both oral and written communication; and

• Fluent in English is essential.

• Industry back-ground in Quality Control or Quality Assurance would be considered highly advantageous.

• Horticultural experience would be considered advantageous.

• Good PC and data management skills.

• The ability to prioritise and deal with competing demands, multi-tasking capacity critical.

• Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced production environment.
