Striive is seeking a proactive and collaborative Finance Manager to provide both strategic and operational leadership across the finance function. In this newly established and pivotal position, you will support Striive’s mission by ensuring strong financial sustainability, maintaining compliance with Australian accounting standards, and deliver insightful financial analysis to guide decision making throughout the organisation.
About the Role
As the Finance Manager, you will oversee every aspect of financial operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger management. You will lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, produce accurate and timely financial reports, and deliver detailed analysis to support strategic initiatives. Your knowledge and expertise will help to uphold strong internal controls, ensure statutory compliance, and drive ongoing improvement within the finance team.
What You Will Do
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and cash flow projections
• Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate audit processes
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with all relevant taxation and statutory obligations
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, and contribute to organisational strategy
What You Will Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field (essential)
• CPA, CA or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Strategic financial leadership experience within a complex organisation
• Proven skills in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management
• Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and financial regulations
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information clearly
