Position Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Group ICT Manager is responsible for leading Steritech’s enterprise-wide technology strategy, governance, cybersecurity, business systems and ICT operations.
This role provides strategic leadership across infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, vendor management, technology investment and digital transformation initiatives. Working closely with the executive team, you will ensure technology capabilities support organisational growth, operational excellence, regulatory compliance and long-term business objectives.
Leading a small but capable ICT team, you will balance strategic planning with hands-on operational involvement, contributing directly to technology delivery, technical problem solving, service improvement and major ICT initiatives while driving continuous improvement, operational resilience and technology modernisation across Steritech’s national operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and execute Steritech’s technology strategy, roadmap and governance framework
- Lead cybersecurity strategy, risk management, resilience planning and business continuity capability
- Provide executive oversight of ICT operations, infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise applications and business systems
- Drive technology modernisation, automation and digital transformation initiatives
- Lead major technology projects, system implementations and strategic vendor partnerships
- Manage technology budgets, procurement, licensing and investment decisions
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency and operational improvement
- Develop and lead a high-performing ICT team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Lead and support Microsoft technology platforms including Microsoft 365, Azure, Business Central and modern workplace technologies.
- Provide oversight of operational technology environments, including PLC-enabled production systems and associated cybersecurity controls.
- Remain actively involved in ICT service delivery, technical escalation support, problem resolution and technology improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements
About You
You are an experienced technology leader who combines strategic thinking with practical execution. You enjoy operating at both executive and technical levels and are comfortable remaining hands-on in a small-team environment where leadership, problem-solving and service delivery responsibilities coexist.
You have successfully led ICT functions within complex, multi-site organisations and are comfortable operating at both executive and operational levels.
You bring strong commercial acumen, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to translate technology opportunities into tangible business outcomes.
You bring:
- Enterprise ICT leadership experience
- Microsoft 365, Azure and Business Central experience
- Exposure to Operational Technology (OT) and PLC-enabled environments
- Modern workplace, identity and access management experience
- Hands-on technical leadership in a small or medium-sized organisation
- Cybersecurity governance experience
- Technology strategy and transformation experience
- Vendor and budget management
- Executive stakeholder management
- Leadership of technical teams
Experience in sterilisation, irradiation processing or medical/cleanroom environments will be highly regarded.
