ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies to strengthen the College’s brand, drive student recruitment, and support business growth across all sectors. You will oversee multi-channel campaigns, digital and content strategy, and market positioning to ensure alignment with organisational goals and target audiences.

Working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, you will analyse market trends, optimise campaign performance, and manage budgets and resources effectively. Your role will have a direct impact on student enrolments and brand visibility by delivering data-driven, innovative marketing initiatives that enhance engagement, support conversion, and position the College competitively within the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine Stanley College’s integrated marketing strategy in alignment with organisational growth objectives.
  • Lead marketing planning across domestic and international markets, supporting onshore and offshore recruitment strategies.
  • Provide high-level marketing advice and insights to the Executive Management Team and senior stakeholders.

Student Recruitment & Growth

  • Design and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns to support student recruitment across VET and HE programs.
  • Work closely with Admissions, International Recruitment, Partnerships, and Academic teams to ensure alignment between marketing activities and enrolment targets.
  • Monitor and optimise lead generation, conversion rates, and cost-per-acquisition metrics.

Brand & Communication

  • Safeguard and strengthen the Stanley College brand across all marketing, digital, and communication channels.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging, visual identity, and tone across campuses, programs, and markets.
  • Oversee content strategy, including digital, print, social media, website, and campaign collateral.

Digital & Performance Marketing

  • Lead digital marketing strategy including website optimisation, SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, CRM, and marketing automation.
  • Analyse campaign performance data and prepare regular reports to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve digital user journeys and prospective student experience.

Stakeholders & Partner Engagement

  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across Academic, Quality & Compliance, Admissions, Student Services, and Partnerships.
  • Manage external agencies, media partners, and suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective outcomes.
  • Support senior leaders with marketing insights, presentations, and business cases.

People & Financial Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation, value for money, and financial governance.
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance expectations aligned with Stanley College’s strategic priorities.

Compliance, Risk & Governance

  • Ensure all marketing and promotional activities comply with ESOS, TEQSA, ASQA, consumer law, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Work closely with the Quality & Compliance team to mitigate reputational and regulatory risks.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support audits and regulatory reviews.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Significant senior-level marketing experience, ideally within education, training, or a regulated service environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with AI applications, digital innovation, and emerging marketing technologies, with the ability to embrace, implement, and optimise AI-driven solutions to improve marketing performance, efficiency, and student engagement.
  • Proven experience leading integrated marketing strategies and delivering measurable growth outcomes.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience, including team development and performance management.
  • Strong digital marketing and analytics capability.
  • Experience in VET and/or Higher Education marketing is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of ESOS, TEQSA, ASQA, and international student recruitment environments is preferred, but not mandatory
