Your New Role
As a Lead Educator, you will lead by example, creating an environment where learning thrives and children feel supported to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor educators within your room
- Deliver engaging, high-quality programs aligned with EYLF 2.0 and Montessori principles
- Plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs
- Document children’s learning through meaningful observations and portfolios
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and the team
- Ensure compliance with NQS and centre policies
- Contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment
To Thrive in This Role, You Will Need:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential)
- Proven experience working in a childcare setting (Lead or Senior Educator preferred)
- Strong understanding of EYLF 2.0 and National Quality Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership or mentoring capability
- A genuine passion for early childhood education
- A collaborative, team-focused approach
- Kindness, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions
