At Chipping Norton Montessori, we believe every child deserves a safe, inspiring, and nurturing environment where they can thrive. Our purpose-built 70-place centre caters for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years and features recently renovated outdoor environments, spacious learning areas, and a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional early education and care.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Centre Manager to lead our service and inspire our team to deliver outstanding outcomes for children, families, and educators.

About the Role

As our Centre Manager, you will play a key leadership role in fostering a positive and high-performing culture across the service. You will mentor and support educators, drive operational excellence, and ensure the centre consistently delivers high-quality education and care aligned with the National Quality Standards. The role is full-time (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team of educators
  • Creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children and families
  • Driving a strong culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework, EYLF 2.0, and centre policies
  • Supporting occupancy growth and maintaining strong community relationships
  • Managing day-to-day operations including staffing, rosters, and performance
  • Building positive partnerships with families and the local community
  • Maintaining a safe, engaging, and enriching learning environment

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Centre Manager within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF 2.0, National Quality Standards, and relevant legislation
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Current Working With Children Check
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for mentoring educators and supporting children to thrive
