This is achieved via multiple platforms including radio, print, television, digital, in-stadium, activations and events.

SEN is a dynamic sport led business on an exciting growth journey and we’re looking for match fit talent to join our passionate team.

Why work with us?

We’re an energetic, fast paced business. You’ll join a close team who are all about enabling one another to succeed. The opportunities for connection and growth span nationally across Australia.

About the role and you:

SEN is looking for a Digital Content & Video Producer to join our Sydney team. This is a fast-paced role for someone who lives and breathes sport (specifically NRL), thrives on breaking news and can turn great moments into engaging digital content.

If you’re equally comfortable editing video, writing breaking news, publishing to social platforms and reacting to the sporting agenda as it unfolds, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll play a key role in producing and publishing digital content across SEN’s website, social media channels and YouTube. Working closely with our editorial and broadcast teams, you’ll create compelling content that keeps sports fans informed and entertained.

You have experience in delivering engaging content across multiple platforms that incorporates and delivers to a client brief.

No two days are the same. One minute you could be clipping breaking NRL news, the next producing a YouTube video, writing analysis or creating social-first content around a major sporting moment.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and edit high-quality video content for social media and YouTube;
  • Clip and package content from live show and broadcasts quickly and accurately;
  • Write timely, engaging and accurate sports news articles and digital content;
  • Publish content across SEN’s website and digital platforms;
  • Create social-first content that grows audience engagement;
  • Work collaboratively with on-air talent, producers and our editorial team;
  • Stay across breaking sports news and identify opportunities to create compelling content;
  • Ensure all content meets SEN’s editorial standards and brand guidelines.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Exceptional video editing skills (this is non-negotiable);
  • Fast video turn around capability;
  • Strong writing ability with experience producing fast, accurate sports reporting;
  • Previous experience in the industry;
  • Sound knowledge of social media platforms and YouTube, including current trends and best practice;
  • A genuine passion for sport, with strong knowledge of the NRL and the wider Australian sporting landscape;
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Strong organisational and time management skills;
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • The flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays when required.

Desirable:

  • Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite;
  • Experience working in a newsroom, sports media or digital publishing environment;
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital publishing platforms;
  • Experience integrating AI tools into publishing;
  • Photography or graphic design skills are an advantage.

You’ll also need to have great communication skills, attention to detail, work at a fast pace and the ability to work in a team environment (in market and remotely).
