We’re seeking a highly unique Production Support and Stabilisation .NET Engineer to take on 1 of our most critical challenges. The problem we are solving is complex: we need to aggressively stabilise a high-volume platform while continuing to build out and ship new features. For very real commercial reasons, we are effectively changing the engines on the jet while we are flying it.
This is not a standard maintenance role. We are looking for an exceptional, battle-tested engineer who thrives in high-stakes environments. You will be the driving force behind identifying production issues, implementing immediate fixes, and making the structural DevOps and architectural changes required to ensure they never happen again—all while keeping the feature delivery pipeline moving.
Key Responsibilities

Platform Stabilisation & Feature Delivery: Act as the critical linchpin between support and feature development, balancing the immediate need to stabilise the platform with the commercial imperative to build out new capabilities.

Proactive Issue Resolution: Identify root causes of complex production issues, implement robust fixes, and engineer proactive monitoring and observability tools to prevent recurrence.

AWS Infrastructure & DevOps: Make foundational DevOps changes directly to environments to resolve bottlenecks. You must confidently navigate and troubleshoot within AWS, with a deep understanding of AWS DMZs, S3, and ECS.

Pipeline Optimisation & IaC: Optimise CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to ensure safe, rapid deployments. Drive stability by transitioning any remaining manual environment configurations to automated Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

API Architecture & Engineering: Design, build, and scale production-grade RESTful JSON APIs using the latest .NET Core frameworks and C#, ensuring optimal response times and high throughput under load.

Secure Development: Architect solutions that adhere to the strictest security standards, working safely within a highly regulated enterprise environment to protect sensitive data and prevent vulnerabilities.

AI Tooling Adoption: Champion the adoption of GenAI and agentic tools where they tangibly improve engineering productivity, code quality, or system capability.
