We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team at our state-of-the-art facility in Yatala. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our production operations. Day shifts operate as below.
Week one shift start 6.00am-2.30pm Mon-Thu and 6.00am-12.30pm on Friday
Week two shift start 8.30am-5.00pm Mon-Thu and 8.30am-3.00pm on Friday
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be a key player in our production team operating our advanced laser cutting machinery ensuring every product that leaves our line meets the standard that we’re renowned for. Here’s a glimpse of your day-to-day:
- Program and operate laser cutting machinery to achieve precise specifications and tolerances in the crafting of precision engineered stainless steel products.
- Perform quality control on every product to ensure it meets our exacting standards and problem solve to rectify production issues.
- Report to the Production Team Leader, sharing ideas and strategies to enhance production processes.
- Follow operational procedures and work safety guidelines.

What We’re Looking For
- Recent experience operating laser cutting machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- A strong understanding of laser technology, materials and cutting processes.
- Familiarity with PLC systems and CNC machinery.
- Detail-oriented with an understanding that quality is non-negotiable.
- A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve and optimise processes.
