As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to support the assembly, testing, maintenance, and development of our cutting-edge systems.

About the Role

As an Electronics Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the development, integration, and testing of advanced electronic systems. You will work within a collaborative engineering environment, helping ensure our products are built, tested, and maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test, and maintain electronic systems and sub-systems
  • Conduct bench testing, troubleshooting, and fault-finding activities
  • Support hardware integration and development programs
  • Assist with system builds, cable harnessing, and equipment preparation
  • Maintain technical documentation, records, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Support procurement and component sourcing activities
  • Prepare equipment for demonstrations, trials, and deployments
  • Assist with field installation and support activities when required
  • Work closely with engineers, technicians, suppliers, and contractors
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and quality outcomes

About You

You are practical, methodical, and enjoy solving technical problems. You take pride in producing high-quality work and enjoy working as part of a team delivering innovative technology.

You will have:

  • Certificate IV, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Experience assembling and testing electronic equipment
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work

Desirable Experience

  • Certificate III in Engineering (Electronic Trade) or equivalent experience
  • Basic understanding of RF systems and radio frequency theory
  • Strong soldering, cable assembly, and prototype build skills
  • Experience supporting field trials, installations, or technical deployments
  • Experience using laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes and multimeters
  • Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Experience with component sourcing and procurement activities
  • Australian Citizen eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance
