Siecap is seeking a Procurement & Logistics Support Officer – Chemicals to provide day‑to‑day operational and analytical support across chemical procurement, logistics and inventory management activities.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working with data, systems and stakeholders, and who wants to build deeper capability in complex chemical supply chains within a supportive and
professional environment.

The role
Reporting to the Chemicals Logistics Manager, this role provides operational support across chemical logistics, procurement, inventory and reporting activities. You’ll work closely with internal
teams, suppliers and site‑based stakeholders, supporting continuity of operations and contributing to business improvement initiatives.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Supporting end‑to‑end coordination of chemical deliveries, scheduling and transport follow‑up
- Monitoring inventory levels, delivery schedules and site constraints
- Supporting procurement administration, supplier coordination and compliance documentation
- Maintaining accurate master data, reports, schedules and audit trails
- Preparing operational updates, dashboards and analytical reports using Excel and Power BI
- Supporting demand planning, forecasting, ordering and replenishment activities
- Assisting with inventory monitoring, telemetry reconciliation and storage reporting
- Supporting governance, compliance, audit preparation and safety documentation
The role will also act in a support capacity during planned leave periods for the Logistics Manager and Category Manager, handling routine queries as required.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in a procurement, logistics or supply‑chain support role (chemicals, manufacturing or industrial environments preferred)
- Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with operational data
- Confidence engaging with stakeholders and guiding decisions through clear, practical input
- A customer and client service mindset, with the ability to support people through change
- A self‑starter approach — someone who takes ownership, influences outcomes and follows things through
- Clear communication skills and strong attention to detail
Qualifications & experience
- Tertiary qualification
- Strong Excel capability and analytical background
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
- C‑Class Driver’s Licence
- Power BI experience and exposure to chemical supply chains or telemetry systems are advantageous
