🌈 About the Role
As an Area Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the Shared Beginnings operations team. You will oversee the performance, compliance and quality outcomes of multiple early learning centres while supporting Directors and their teams to deliver exceptional education and care.
You’ll help bring our philosophy and values to life by building strong teams, supporting professional growth, and ensuring every service operates at the highest standard.
💛 What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide leadership, mentoring and operational support to Centre Directors
- Oversee the performance, quality and compliance of multiple early learning centres
- Support centres in achieving strong outcomes under the National Quality Framework
- Guide teams in implementing VEYLDF and high-quality educational programs
- Monitor compliance with National Regulations, policies and child safety standards
- Support recruitment, professional development and team capability building
- Oversee centre budgets, performance and operational sustainability
- Build strong relationships with families, educators and the broader community
🌟 What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Area Manager role, or significant leadership experience as a Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor
- Strong working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, NQS, VEYLDF and relevant legislation
- Experience supporting teams with compliance, quality improvement and centre operations
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor, coach and inspire teams
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management (or willingness to maintain)
