About the role
As a valued member of our Systems Engineering team, you’ll support a portfolio of clients and work closely with our Service Desk, Projects, and Infrastructure teams.
This is a hands-on technical role with variety and autonomy. You’ll act as a key escalation point, contribute to continuous improvement, and help deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes for our clients.
This role is based in Brisbane and requires regular onsite client work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and resolving complex Level 3 incidents and service requests
- Providing escalation support to the Service Desk team
- Maintaining and enhancing infrastructure environments for your regular clients
- Delivering both remote and onsite support across client environments
- Advising clients on appropriate solutions and improvements
Experience you bring
You’ll ideally have 5+ years’ experience in a technical support or systems engineering role, preferably within an MSP or multi-site environment.
Core experience:
- Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)
- Advanced Windows Server administration
- Networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls)
- Virtualisation (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
- RMM and security tools
Bonus points for experience with:
- UniFi network and Palo Alto firewalls management
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- PowerShell scripting and automation
- Security tooling and vulnerability management
