Cleaning Supervisor

Summary:

The Cleaning Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our healthcare environment in Moorabbin, Victoria. This part-time, permanent position is essential for ensuring compliance with health regulations and fostering a safe and welcoming atmosphere for both staff and clients. The ideal candidate will lead a team of cleaners, oversee daily operations, and implement effective cleaning protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the cleaning team to ensure efficient operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Train and mentor cleaning staff on best practices and safety procedures.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are maintained and replenished as necessary.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to optimise efficiency.
• Address any cleaning-related issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and staff performance.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
