We’re looking for an organised, detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our Quality and Governance team in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to work across both higher education and vocational education, helping ensure our learners receive a high-quality education that meets regulatory and governance standards.

About the role
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you’ll play an important role in supporting quality assurance and regulatory compliance across the Scentia Group.
Working closely with teams across the organisation, you’ll coordinate compliance activities, maintain evidence and reporting, support audits and accreditation activities, monitor compliance actions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate compliance and quality assurance activities across the business.
- Maintain compliance records, registers and evidence repositories.
- Monitor compliance actions and follow up with stakeholders.
- Support regulatory audits, provider registrations and accreditation activities.
- Assist with compliance reporting, submissions and governance documentation.
- Review policies, procedures and quality documentation.
- Review marketing and student-facing information for regulatory compliance.
- Prepare agendas, minutes, action registers and committee papers.
- Support internal quality reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with academic, operational and corporate teams.
What you’ll bring
You’ll be organised, proactive and enjoy working with detail while building strong relationships across the business.
You’ll also have:
- Experience working within an RTO, higher education provider or regulated education environment.
- Experience in compliance, quality assurance, governance or education administration.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Experience maintaining compliance records, evidence or reporting documentation.
- Confidence building relationships across multiple teams.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a practical approach to problem solving.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of TEQSA, ASQA, CRICOS, ESOS, the VET Quality Framework or Higher Education Standards Framework.
- Experience supporting audits, regulatory submissions or accreditation activities.
