Description

Casual Facilitator

📍 Melbourne & online | 💰 $45.28/hr + super | 🗓 Casual (school holidays, some evenings and weekends), immediate start.

Satellite Foundation is looking for creative, warm and youth-centred facilitators to help deliver fun, engaging programs for children and young people who have a family member with mental health challenges.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a values-driven organisation that uses creativity, connection and lived experience to support young people across Victoria. You’ll co-facilitate creative workshops, play-based activities and light-touch mental health content across online sessions, full-day programs and occasional overnight camps. Our programs are all about connection, creativity and feeling safe to be yourself.

We’d love to hear from you if you have experience in:

  • Creative facilitation including arts, crafts, storytelling, movement, music or other expressive practices
  • Supporting the wellbeing of children and young people in group settings
  • Youth work, community programs, education, peer support or mental health settings
  • Drawing on lived experience in thoughtful and appropriate ways to support connection and empathy

📅 Availability during Victorian school holidays, evenings and weekends is essential, as is a drivers licence and access to a vehicle.

You must be available for work:

  • Between the weeks of 14 September and 1 October
  • On the required induction days from 10:00am–4:00pm on Monday 31 August and Tuesday 1 September.
