Excellent Remuneration: $110k + 12% super + salary packaging + 5 weeks annual leave

Hours: Normal business hours, with flexibility for additional hours as needed

Travel: This role is primarily based in Tennant Creek. Occasional travel may be required from time to time to support program delivery or attend organisational meetings.

The Role: As the Hospitality LLND Trainer, you’ll deliver engaging Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) training through practical hospitality-based learning. Working within the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program, you’ll support participants to build confidence, strengthen foundation skills and progress towards employment, further training and community participation.
Working closely with Mentors, the Course Coordinator and external stakeholders, you’ll create culturally safe and engaging learning experiences while supporting participants to overcome barriers and achieve positive outcomes.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging LLND and hospitality training aligned with SEE Program requirements.
- Create practical, culturally safe learning experiences that build participant confidence and employability.
- Monitor participant progress, attendance and outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with Mentors, the Course Coordinator and community partners to support participant success.
- Develop learning resources and contribute to continuous program improvement.
- Maintain accurate participant records and meet contractual compliance requirements.
- Build relationships with employers and industry to create pathways into employment.

Essential Criteria:
- Hold a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
- Relevant hospitality qualifications and/or recent industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience delivering LLND or adult education programs.
- Sound understanding of the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate participants from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to culturally safe and participant-centred practice.
Employment Requirements:
Successful applicants will be required to hold or obtain:
- National Police Clearance (no more than 3 months old)
- Valid NT OCHRE Card
- Current Unrestricted/Open Driver Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
