Join Our Team as a Course Coordinator at Saltbush! 

Saltbush is seeking an organised, proactive and community-minded Course Coordinator to join our Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program in Tennant Creek. Working alongside a dedicated team, you’ll provide administration and coordination support that contributes to the successful delivery of training and positive participant outcomes.

Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Fulltime, Fixed Term to 30 September 2029
  • Excellent Remuneration: $75k + 12% super + salary packaging + 5 weeks annual leave
  • Reports To: Tennant Creek Program Manager
  • Hours: Normal business hours, with flexibility for additional hours as needed
  • Travel: This role is primarily based in Tennant Creek. Occasional travel may be required from time to time to support program delivery or attend organisational meetings.

The Role: As the Course Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of the SEE Program. Working closely with the Program Manager, Trainers and Mentors, you’ll coordinate participant administration, maintain accurate records, assist with course logistics and help ensure participants have a positive and engaging learning experience.

Your organisation, communication and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth operation of the program while supporting participants throughout their learning journey.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate participant enrolments, attendance and course administration.
  • Maintain accurate participant records and reporting.
  • Support Trainers and Mentors with course preparation and daily program operations.
  • Respond to participant and stakeholder enquiries in a professional and culturally respectful manner.
  • Coordinate program resources, documentation and participant communications.
  • Contribute to participant engagement activities, graduations and information sessions.
  • Support compliance, reporting and continuous improvement activities.

Essential Criteria:

  • Strong administration, organisational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with participants, colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated commitment to culturally safe and respectful service delivery.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information appropriately.

Employment Requirements:

Successful applicants will be required to hold or obtain:

  • National Police Clearance (no more than 3 months old)
  • Valid NT OCHRE Card
  • Current Unrestricted/Open Driver Licence
