We are seeking a reliable and skilled Machinery Operator to join our feedlot operations. This role is ideal for someone experienced or interested in operating heavy machinery in a production environment who values, consistency, and well-maintained equipment.

About the Role

As a Machinery Operator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the feedlot, supporting feeding operations, pen maintenance, and general site works. This position requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a close-knit operational team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate feedlot machinery including loaders, feed trucks, tractors, and support equipment
• Assist with feed batching and delivery
• Conduct daily pre-start checks, servicing, and basic maintenance
• Identify and report mechanical or safety issues promptly
• Work in accordance with WHS procedures and feedlot safety standards
• Accurately complete operational and maintenance records

About You

• Previous experience operating machinery (desirable, not essential)
• Loader experience (desirable, not essential)
• Strong safety awareness and respect for heavy machinery
• Mechanically minded with good fault-spotting skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow routines and procedures
• Willingness to work rostered hours, including early starts
