We’re a family-run business, deeply rooted in values that span generations. As we expand, we’re looking for a Maintenance Lead to join us on this exciting journey and play a pivotal role in the future of Rombola Family Farms.
About the role:
The Maintenance Lead will diagnose, inspect, service, and perform breakdown repairs and preventive maintenance of tractors and farm machinery as well as performing scheduled maintenance services, such as lubrications, engine tune-ups and oil changes. This is a key
support role to machinery and equipment is operating efficiently and safely to minimise
downtime. You will ensure equipment service history records are kept up to date
and assist to maintain a tidy and well organised work environment.
Key operational accountabilities include:
- This role will diagnose, inspect, service, and perform breakdown repairs and preventive maintenance of tractors and farm machinery as well as
- Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as lubrications, engine tune-ups and oil changes.
- This is a key support role to machinery and equipment is operating efficiently and safely to minimise downtime.
- You will ensure equipment service history records are kept up to date and assist to maintain a tidy and well organised work environment.
- Ensure workshop is always kept clean and tidy, walkways are clear and participate in housekeeping programs
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- Qualifications and/or employment background with demonstrated mechanical and ideally agricultural maintenance skills and knowledge.
- Previous experience in processing, welding and/or fabrication would be advantageous.
- Current Driver’s License.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
- Team player who can work effectively with people from different backgrounds.
- Awareness and ability to adhere to WHS requirements
- Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets
